Steve Beall
I grew up in southern Indiana and attended Indiana University-Bloomington where I studied biology as an undergrad. A Master’s program brought me to the Navajo reservation in northwest Arizona, where I spent a semester teaching and studying multicultural education. I immediately fell in love with the Sonoran Desert upon moving to Tucson. After teaching high school for several years, I earned my MS in Biology through the Ecology and Evolutionary Biology department at the University of Arizona. Since then, I taught middle school science and math for several years before going back to teaching high school. I am also adjunct faculty at Pima Community College where I have instructed several courses, but Natural History of the Desert Southwest has been my favorite.
