Creating Native Plant Refuges with Jim Koweek
Invasive plant species have already taken over a large portion of SE Arizona. This has had a negative effect on the fauna that depend on the native species for food and habitat. Control on a large scale, possibly millions of acres, is not going to happen. Our best hope is to create many small-scale refuges for native plants. This keeps a seed bank going and provides some sanctuary. This presentation will cover how and why to do this.
